Hotel Guest Sets Building On Fire / Riverside | 08.16.2021

RIVERSIDE, CA | 08.16.2021 | At 10:15 PM, the Riverside Public Safety Communication Center received a call about a guest in the Hyatt Hotel, located in Downtown Riverside, who sent a picture of a friend pouring alcohol all over the room, setting it on fire.

Riverside City Fire as well as the Riverside Police Department responded and first observed light smoke coming from the 2nd floor. RPD shut down 4th and 5th street and the suspect was taken into custody.
