Woman Entrapped In SUV After Crashing Off A Cliff / Santa Clarita

SANTA CLARITA, CA | 05.13.2023 | Dennys IC - At around 4:30 PM on Saturday afternoon, firefighters with the LACoFD received a report of a person trapped in the Santa Clara River.

When arriving on scene, firefighters with the county reported a woman, approximately in her 40s, trapped within Santa Clara River, roughly 50 feet in.

After being rescued and freed, the woman was airlifted via helicopter due to the terrain she was in.

No injuries were known at this time.
