Climate Protests Hold Day of Ineos, Several Arrested Due To Blocking Oil Entrance / Grangemouth

GRANGEMOUTH, SCOTLAND - July 15, 2023: Environmental protesters held a protest in Grangemouth today against INEOS.

The protest started at Kinneil House before ending at the junction of Inveravon and A905. There was a moderate police presence with officers from neighboring areas.

The protesters split themselves into two groups, one going left and one going right, Police Scotland attempted to kettle protesters going right but where met with resistance from the protesters and ultimately made it to the end of the road before reinforcements from Police Scotland to block the road off.

5 protesters were arrested as a result of the protest.
