Suspected DUI Driver Hits Power Pole, Flees Scene & Gets Arrested / Loma Linda | 06.23.2020
LOMA LINDA, CA | 06.23.2020 | Late Tuesday night, at about 10:30pm, a mustang spun out and collided with a power pole on the corner of Redlands Blvd & Anderson Street, just south of the Interstate 10 off/on ramps in Loma Linda.
The driver of the vehicle who was suspected of drunk driving, fled the scene after crashing into the power pole, leaving minor to moderate damages on both the vehicle and power pole.
After the driver of the vehicle fled the scene, the mustang had reportedly caught on fire, prompting Loma Linda Fire Department to respond. Fortunately, the vehicle's fire was suppressed and was not a threat to the vehicle and the surrounding property.
The driver of the vehicle suffered little to no injuries and was transported to a nearby hospital for further evaluation.
