“Tennessee Three” Gives Press Statements After House Speaker Closes Gallery, Ends Session / Nashville

TENNESSEE STATE CAPITOL | 04.03.2023 | Thursday night, protestors interrupt the House chambers, causing the House Speaker Sexton to clear both sides of the gallery of all people and shortly after letting the House end for the day.

Three democratic Representatives, who are on trial to be expelled from House chambers, gave a short statement to the press, explaining one of the three was pushed and had their phone smacked out of their hand.
