Vegetation Fire Erupts In Park / Riverside | 08.29.2021

RIVERSIDE, CA | 08.29.2021 | At 5:56pm, the City of Riverside Fire Department received a call about a possible vegetation fire in Fairmont Park in . The caller reported seeing flames and smoke within the vegetation by the VFW building inside the park. City of Riverside Fire responded immediately with a structure response to extinguish the vegetation fire and defend the VFW building.

All forward progress has been stopped. The location of the fire reported was the same as the “Scout Fire" Incident that occurred last week.
