Brush Fire In Mentone Threatens Homes, Scorching Over 15 Acres / Mentone | 07.18.2020

MENTONE, CA | 07.18.2020 | Saturday evening at 4:47pm, fire personnel were on scene of a vegetation fire off of Highway 38 / Garnet Street in Mentone. The vegetation fire grew quickly from 1 acre to 15+ acres, prompting high alerts as it became a hazard to nearby homes and structures.

After a long hour of battling flames, continuous water drops, and evening moving out dry vegetation, the fire finally became suppressed.
