Woman Dies In Hospital After Head-On Crash / Columbia

COLUMBIA, TN | 03.21.2023 | At approximately 7:25 PM on Tuesday night, Columbia Fire & Rescue and Maury Regional EMS were dispatched to a two vehicle accident with injuries on the Highway 43 bypass, at Williamsport Pike.

Firefighters arrived on scene to find one patient with head injuries and one patient entrapped inside a van.

The patient entrapped was successfully extricated shortly after.

Both patients were then transported to the hospital.

Family members and friends later confirm that one family member had passed in the hospital.
