Grease Fire Cause 4-Alarm Commercial Fire, Destroys Almost Entire Business / Jurupa Valley | 07.28.2021

JURUPA VALLEY, CA | 07.28.2021 | Wednesday evening, around 5:18pm, CAL FIRE / Riverside County Fire were dispatched to a large commercial structure fire, reported to be at the 5700 Block of Mission Blvd.

As flames grew larger when CAL FIRE / Riverside County Fire arrived, it prompted a request for a two alarm, later to be a four alarm. This request required additional support from other fire agencies, such as; Corona Fire, Murrieta Fire, Ontario Fire, Riverside City Fire, and even a strike team from the Orange County Fire Authority.

As of right now, the cause of the fire is still under investigation, however, according to multiple witness testimonies who were inside the business, claim the incident began as a grease fire in the butcher department and became uncontrollable.
