Day 2 - Apple Fire Reaches Over 20,000 Acres In National Forest / Yucaipa | 08.02.2020

BANNING / OAK GLEN / YUCAIPA, CA | 08.02.2020 | July 31st, CAL Fire RRU (Riverside Unit) responded to a vegetation fire that grew over 50 acres in a matter of minutes, days later, the vegetation fire had grown to over 20,000 acres, more than 30 square miles, displacing residents and pets out of the area.

As the fire grew, it destroyed multiple structures and homes. Luckily no residents or locals have been reportedly injured or deceased.

Fire Investigators have now deemed the fire suspicious, amid arson investigation. However, investigators are still unclear at this time until the fire can be knocked down.
