Procession for Fallen Correctional Officer / Columbia | 02.13.2021

COLUMBIA, TN | 02.13.2021 | Today, a procession took place for a Correctional Officer with the Maury County Sheriff’s Department who passed away due to complications caused by the COVID-19 virus.

According to the Maury County Sheriff’s Department in Tennessee, Shannon Helton, 42, joined the department in 2003, serving for over 15 years before his passing. He passed away at the Maury Regional Medical Center located in Columbia, Tennessee on February 4, 2021.
