Abandoned Restaurant Catches Fire / Riverside | 02.19.2021

RIVERSIDE, CA - 02.19.21 - Late Friday night, around 10:32pm, City of Riverside Fire Department responded to a commercial fire at the old Mandarin Garden restaurant on the 1400 block of University Ave in Riverside, California.

The Mandarin Garden restaurant has since been abandoned after it was shut down several months ago. Firefighters on scene have reason to believe the fire was from a gas line connected to the property.

At this time, the cause of the fire is still undetermined and will be investigated.
