Van Encounters Close Calls As CHP Conducts Traffic Break / Redlands | 05.09.2020

REDLANDS, CA | 05.09.2020 | Late Saturday night, at 10:35pm, CHP was notified of a van idling in the center divider while partially being half way in the #1 Lane on Interstate 10 going Westbound, just West of Mountain View Avenue in Redlands.

Before arriving on scene, CHP conducted a traffic break starting about half a mile out. After the Westbound lanes were temporarily shut down due to the break, CHP officers order the driver of the van to move the vehicle to the right shoulder. Once all traffic hazards were cleared, officers allowed the traffic to pick back up.
