Vegetation Fire Prompts 2-Alarm Request / Riverside | 09.26.2021

RIVERSIDE, CA | 09.26.2021 | Sunday afternoon, at around 3:46pm, the City of Riverside Fire Department and Riverside Police Department responded to reports of a vegetation fire near Washington Street & Victoria Ave in Riverside. Upon arrival, the first Riverside Fire unit requested the incident to be upgraded to a 2-Alarm fire, due to nearby structural threat by the flames.
After continued defensive measures by City of Riverside Fire, the incident became under control and fully contained. The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
