High Rise Fire In County Records Building Prompts 3rd Alarm / San Bernardino | 06.19.2022

SAN BERNARDINO, CA | 06.19.2022 | At approximately 9:30AM on Sunday morning, San Bernardino County Fire responded to a commercial structure fire at the San Bernardino County Hall of Records located in Downtown San Bernardino. As crews arrived on scene, firefighters quickly established a High Rise Plan as the fire grew rapidly within the 4th Floor of the building.

The incident was marked as a 3-Alarm with a 4th Alarm (Greater Alarm) response with 5 Battalion Chiefs, 5 Trucks and 25 Engines.

Mutual Aid was requested from Riverside City Fire, CAL FIRE / Yucaipa Fire and CAL FIRE / Highland Fire.

Cause of the fire is unknown and is still being investigated.
