Local Mexican Restaurant Almost Goes Up In Flames / Columbia | 11.05.2021

COLUMBIA, TN | 11.05.2021 | Late Friday night, at approximately 8:30pm, Columbia Fire & Rescue, Maury County EMS, and Mount Pleasant Fire responded to a commercial structure fire located at 5024 Trotwood Avenue, the "Cocina Real" Mexican restaurant.

Upon arrival, firefighters were notified that the restaurant was fully evacuated and that no was reportedly injuried or killed.

Further investigation shows the fire was contained to the kitchen area only, and no other parts of the restaurant or surrounding buildings took any damage.
