Tennessee Rep. Pearson Sworn In For Second Time After Being Expelled By Majority Vote / Nashville

TENNESSEE STATE CAPITOL | 04.13.2023 | On Thursday morning, Justin Pearson gave a heart-felt speech and was sworn in for a second time after being previously expelled by a majority vote of House Republicans.

The original expulsion came after Representative Pearson and two other colleagues marched into the States Capitol with hundreds of protestors, allegedly disrupting a house session.

Representative Justin Pearson was then saved by the Shelby County Board of Commissioners days later by a unanimous vote, allowing Pearson to be brought back into the Capitol.
